GRACIEMAG #139 - 102 Reasons to Read me
A constellation of stars reveals over one hundred pointers that will spell the difference between victory and defeat
Those knowing experts who infest the football round-table discussions love to say football is in the details. Ball players love to say: “If that ball had been two centimeters lower, we’d have won.” If football is in the details, what’s there to say about Jiu-Jitsu? With that in mind, GRACIEMAG rapped on the doors of Jiu-Jitsu teachers and stars and also those of sister arts to have them teach the finer details that turn an efficient game deadly. Carlos Gracie Jr, Fabio Gurgel, Olympic medalist Flavio Canto, UFC and Jiu-Jitsu star Demian Maia and a handful of others were called upon to meet the challenge. There were protests, of course, as is generally the case when you ask a team leader to expose his army's weapons. But, in the end, fair play and the spirit of collaborating to help Jiu-Jitsu grow to its highest level prevailed. That's great for the gentle art, even better for the reader.
